Our clinical advisors have superior knowledge in their therapeutic indications and are experts in their fields, serving on professional societies and medical journal review boards, and also as invited lecturers and presenters at national academic conferences.

 

Jack L. Cronenwett, M.D., Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Jack Cronenwett is a vascular surgeon and former
Chief for the Section of Vascular Surgery at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, and he is also a professor of surgery at Dartmouth Medical School. Dr. Cronenwett  is a consistent supporter of all M2S products and services, and aided with the initial outreach and advancements of M2S’s Preview® and PEMS® vascular patient managements services. More recently, he has played a key role in the continuous development of Clinical Data Pathways, M2S’s quality improvement outcomes registry. Dr. Cronenwett actively helped secure a partnership between M2S and the Society for Vascular Surgery
® (SVS), launching the Vascular Quality Initiative, where he serves as the Medical Director of the SVS Patient Safety Organization (SVS PSO). The Vascular Quality Initiative is built off the highly successful Vascular Study Group of New England (VSGNE) which Dr. Cronenwett organized in 2002.

Dr. Cronenwett graduated from Stanford University School of Medicine in 1973, with postdoctoral trainings at the University of Tennessee and the University of Michigan Medical Center. He is the editor emeritus of the Journal of Vascular Surgery and the editor of the seventh edition of Rutherford’s Vascular Surgery Textbook. Dr. Cronenwett has published more than 250 peer-reviewed articles, books, and book chapters, as well as delivered more than 250 scientific presentations. Dr. Cronenwett currently practices in cerebrovascular disease, renal artery disease, peripheral arterial disease, and aortic aneurysms, and he has served as president both regionally with the New England Society for Vascular Surgery and nationally with the Society for Vascular Surgery®.
