The M2S® PATHWAYS™ Clinical Data Platform now serves over 400 participating medical centers from across North America. M2S, is the technology and service provider for the Vascular Quality Initiative® (VQI), and the NeuroVascular Quality Initiative® (NVQI), and PATHWAYS is a powerful web-based tool for data collection that supports both registries.
The Vascular Quality Initiative® (VQI®), governed by the Society for Vascular Surgery Patient Safety Organization (SVS PSO), and the Neurovascular Quality Initiative® (NVQI®), governed by the Society of NeuroInterventional Surgery Patient Safety Organization (SNIS PSO), are designed to improve the quality of healthcare. Through regional and national benchmarking, the SVS PSO and SNIS PSO use data for quality improvement, collected through the M2S PATHWAYS platform, to assist physicians and data managers to better understand clinical outcomes and follow up at a unique level of detail. Over 2,900 participating physicians have combined to capture over 330,000 cases across 15 different procedures.
“This is an amazing milestone for M2S, the VQI and the NVQI,” said Greg Lange, Chief Operating Officer of M2S. “We are proud to partner with so many healthcare organizations that are committed to quality improvement and cost containment and we are grateful for the opportunity to have such a significant impact on healthcare across North America.”
The PATHWAYS platform allows for collecting, analyzing, abstracting and sharing vast amounts of patient data. The data drives best practices in order to decrease length of stay, reduce readmission rates and improve reimbursement.
